Re: [bug 4543] [crash] on applying fillet or chamfer

I have submitted both a ticket and a change request upstream: https://tracker.dev.opencascade.org/view.php?id=32181 I think there is a problem in your patch. A user reported the problem here , and I digged up a bit. I can reproduce the problem with a simplified model attached here. The fillet/draft...

Re: PR#2862: Configuration Table using Spreadsheet

Why not use a hidden temporary Document to contain the deep copy : with a new hidden temporary document, you are sure that it's empty, thus all copied names will be preserved.? If you copy into the current document, existing names will be changed to keep the unique name principle of FreeCAD, so how...

Re: PR#2862: Configuration Table using Spreadsheet

New development in Variant Link feature. Since someone just asked, I think it's better to posted it here so that other can know as well. The new feature hasn't been added to the PR yet. I'll add it soon. Anyone interested can try it with my latest release (2021.09.09), either Stable or Daily. In add...

Re: Hidden line draw style

Yes, I'v got it. Sihlouette is working, but speed of "Draw outline" is very slow. Besides this - no problems. Simply perfect. I have just added a new option to disable per face outline. It is on by default meaning that each curved face is rendered separately to obtain the outline. I knew ...

Re: Hidden line draw style

This is great! I was looking for hiding hidden lines and your styles are awesome! May be you can help me a little with color settings? In "No shading" style colours are almost real, but in "Shaded" style whole model seems to be too dark. Is there a way to give some more light? I...

Re: Automated Model Tester: Rotator macro and test files

This is the issue; for some reason the Attachment fails, the stud placement changes. This is because the attacher maps the sketch to the face origin, which for some reason changes if you extrude the sketch at a different angle, due to some mystery OCC code I presume. You can change the attachment m...

Re: [Link] of (Sketch)ObjectPython / Part FeaturePython lose its 'Proxy Methods' ?

So this Experimental Render Cache only helps Links (with hierarchies of objects) or it helps in general a scene with millions of objects ? It helps in general, but can help more with hierarchies of object, like lots of objects in a group, or many levels of group. It still has its limitation on the ...

Re: PR #4752 Topological Naming

As a user I would expect the underlying TopoNaming workings to sort out this type of id-change as far as it is possible. There is indeed a problem with saving the history encoded in the topo names. If you open the document and perform a full recompute, the history will be regenerated. And then chan...
