Re: [WIP] updating to netgen 6.2.2004 (was smesh windows problem)

Every library is suffixed with a "d". I will try to upload a debug package which has the "d" removed. Just updated to: smesh-8.3.0.3.test-py38hc60e02b_515 netgen-6.2.2004-py38h0e004c9_501 But: :o Screenshot 001.png Debug builds packages should enclose *.pdb files to enhance debugging experience. ;)

Re: 0.19pre, FEM fail to startup

Conda builds are broken ATM

FEM WB and MeshDesign WB are affected.

Re: [WIP] updating to netgen 6.2.2004 (was smesh windows problem)

Conda build 0.19 build 21049 ( https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/releases/download/0.19_pre/FreeCAD_0.19.21049-Win-Conda_vc14.x-x86_64.7z ) doesn't work. I had to downgrade netgen to: (freecad) C:\Users\aio\Miniconda3>conda list netgen # packages in environment at C:\Users\aio\Miniconda3\envs\freec...

… beim "Alphorn" kommt das Loft-Tool deutlich besser weg als das Sweep.
Und deshalb hat Pipeshell aus der CurvesWB auch die Option "Lofted Sections" ;)

Because timing belt pulleys are manufactured by hob milling, I think resulting tooth profile isn't made of any lines or arcs.

Re: Creating Shell from Faces

CurvesWB, installable via addon manager, offers this function:

You have to preselect all needed faces, perhaps by box selection (Shift+b),
and then invoke CurvesWB->Make Solid.
That's all. ;)

Re: Begging for help regarding temperature FEM analysis

There seems to be no chance to select the inner solid with current FreeCAD version. There is an easy workaround to circumvent this difficulty. ;) Please see this example: Here we have three nested cubes made from three different materials (copper, aluminium and steel) Screenshot 002.png It's design...
