Re: Interlocking modules
I am using a Freecad to make machines and tractor implements and I am using a CNC Plasma cutter , and I was looking forward for such a tool!
It speeds up the fabricating process A LOT!
I will test this soon. Thank you for your contribution!!

Datum Plane orientation request
Hello guys, is this the right place to throw an idea? As I start to love working with the datum planes and the super duper nice capabilities of attaching them to anything, I found myself always guessing wrong which is the xyz orientation of that datum plane. Is it possible to add a graphic of the ax...

So I went online, downloaded the gmsh binary v4.xx and replaced the old gmsh in /usr/bin . Most likely I have caused a lot of mess, but hey, it looks like it works. It throws a error ...

Re: future in assembly? a2+, assembly3, what else?
Thank you all. I started migrating to A2+ It has lots of weird issues, but I love 3 things specifically! a) Imported parts do not need to have only one visible part, (with the downside that the imported part shows the hidden parts too) b) Relative parts! Yes!, Since all my files are on Git it saves ...

future in assembly? a2+, assembly3, what else?
Hello, I am using freecad a lot for designing open source agriculture equipment. So far I am using the Assembly2 workbench with all its flaws :) But since the new approach on the PartDesign workbench, and the introduction of Bodys and Parts, I sense that the Assemby2 workbench is not the best way. A...
