Re: STEP output different from FreeCAD part

Concerning your first issue: You most probably selected a previous and not the final feature for export. I selected the body in the tree, selecting the whole thing. With "previous version" appearing I meant that things appeared that were wrong and which I corrected before exporting the STEP. But ap...

If you could add the FreeCAD file to this post, others could have a look.

;)
This is very nice, thank you!

I just found (an initially) little error, but trying to fix it is propagating through the whole model.
Well...

Re: STEP output different from FreeCAD part

OK, so looking through the model, I found some errors in a different body - and now it's going havoc through the whole of the body's and features. Once one reference (external geometry, other features and edges) is broken, there is no holding back in FreeCAD... I try to save the model, but might as ...

STEP output different from FreeCAD part

Dear FreeCad users, I am not a FreeCad expert, so maybe I completely overlook something. There is a model which I made - to be printed in 3D - where I needed explicitly the thread to be modelled. So I used the fastener module to form a screw and did a boolean cut operation. It worked well two times,...

Re: macOS: Possible to have 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse support built into official releases?

Yes! It is working now. Just downloaded and tested it. Only slight pain: Axes are swapped (pushing down will move the object further away etc.) Cannot remember where to map the axes in a different way, but at least this is a good starting point! Thank you very much! When I click on "Mouse" in the p...

Re: macOS: Possible to have 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse support built into official releases?

Please anyone test the latest Mac 0.19 build available from github release page. I think space mouse should be enabled. Regarding building freecad in osx with conda-packages please have a look here: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=36151 (WIP) Yes! It is working now. Just downloaded...

Re: macOS: Possible to have 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse support built into official releases?

Pistonpin, did you have any success? Currently I am very hesitant to move upwards from 0.17 as I need the 3Dconnexion device. Regards Martin Hey Martin, no, unfortunately not. I've installed a fresh version of macOS 10.13 on an external hard disk just for building FreeCAD, but it always fails at so...

Re: macOS: Possible to have 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse support built into official releases?

Another tutorial (Conda oriented): https://vectronic.io/posts/building-freecad-with-3dconnexion-support-on-macos-using-conda/ Thanks for the links, triplus! The second one was what I've used to build my semi-working version. :) I will have a look at the Travis file and give it another go over the w...

Re: 0.17 & Mac Mojave total crash

Thanks anyway for testing. The calling mechanism has been changed and I hope that this problem is solved. And so I just liek to see it validated. Chrisb, I just downloaded today the latest 0.19pre build and this is what happens: The Icon bounces a lot more and it takes more time than with the 0.17 ...

When starting through terminal, these problems disappear alltogether.
Can you please retest with a current 0.19 version and report back?
I will try.
As new version cut out 3DConnexion devices, my interest in these version is close to zero, but I will try.
