Re: Need some thoughts on modeling approach

Referencing the sketch is the important part. Sketches are more stable regarding the Topological_naming_problem. You could use Expressions too. I personally like to use spreadsheets a lot rather than expressions and external references.

I think those buttons are a main feature to be able to quickly show / hide selected constraints while discussing a sketch.

Re: Using a master spreadsheet in the top level assembly file

I've used linked spreadsheets in different files with components and in assembly3 files too. I haven't done exactly what you've described but I think that should work too. Should I setup a minimal example?

Re: [Feature Request] Part Design - Vertical and Horizontal symmetry.

I think there's a misunderstanding here. leoheck, could you share some examples and your workarounds? Maybe some people are going to change there mind, maybe you're going to learn something new. Either way, everybody wins. :)

For me the icon and the lettering are "dimmed". It's hard to tell from your screenshot but I think it's the same for you. Snip macro screenshot-8530da.png OS: Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS (ubuntu:GNOME/ubuntu) Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit Version: 0.20.25943 (Git) AppImage Build type: Release Branch...

Re: [IN DEVELOPMENT] Some shortcuts should be verified

- One "Radius" (maybe OpenBrain's "smart radius", or just the regular one), could be made into single stroke as "R", as this one is not yet taken. Which one needs to be decided . I like that. I haven't used the "smart radius" yet but this could be a practical...

Re: [IN DEVELOPMENT] Some shortcuts should be verified

First of all, thank you very much! I've to admit that I was surprised to see that horizontal distance and vertical distance didn't end up in the "single stroke area". I've auto constraints enabled and use the polyline tool a lot. This way the majority of the lines I've to constrain vertica...

Which 0.19 version did you use? Thebig red banner at the top describes how to get that information.

Re: Übersetzung in PartDesign Bohrung / Hole
