Re: all sharp edges need to be rouded

Yes it looks better, I have noticed the same problem too with the fillets. The next challenge is how to make it thin. This function also requires some attention to the edges. They should be spaced enough to create fillets. Especially in outside thickness mode. Another approach. 0.7 mm wall (beyond ...

Re: all sharp edges need to be rouded

could any one help me how to round all sharp edges in this tank (blow moulding) Hello, I did a lot of tests in PartDesagn WB, then Part WB, with several construction techniques. I noticed one thing: When using Loft, the created edges have difficulty accepting the fillets. Important note: I have mod...

Re: Assembly3 attaching with multiple holes

SameOrientation After an exchange with Realthunder, I noticed that the SameOrientation constraint prohibited all rotations between the two constrained objects (3 DOFs remaining), whereas I mistakenly believed that only the normals were made parallel. On the other hand, the MultiParallel constraint ...

FreeCAD does not satisfy you, go your way.

I accept less and less all these general and too easy criticisms of FreeCAD (among others!). There are those who absolutely want to find in FreeCAD their practices in other software, and those who want an effortless result. Criticism has become too developed a practice for my liking. First of all, a...

Re: Assembly3 attaching with multiple holes

I tried that and the PlaneCoincident and SameOrientation work independently, but in combination I get an "inconsistent constraints" message and they do not align. Hello, I tested on my end and I have the same problem which did not occur before. I used another approach and got this : Asm3R...

Re: Assembly3 attaching with multiple holes

For the longer flat piece, I am able to do two AxialAlignments, but then a PlaneAlignment after that does not work. For the other pieces, I cannot do the two AxialAlignments. The Attach constrain does not align them properly. Hello, If I answer your question strictly, you must put the constraints t...

Salut Forthman, tu as parfaitement raison : je me suis planté !

PoigneePlast.png https://www.dropbox.com/s/js8zm910ujwb8n...
