Re: Sanity check of NACA 0012 gives wrong coefficient of lift
Hi Thomas, I'm confused about the mesh thickness. You've used 50mm as you thickness but this mess is refined as we get closer to the wing so the thickness on the wing is much smaller than that, isn't it? you have a factor of 0.25 refinement there... that doesn't play a role? Thanks for helping out,...

Re: fcVM workbench
Yes, the system with the ring-stiffener is for sure the better solution. Which I use when designing a new structure. When I have a concrete structure like the bell tower, would you recommend to use fcvm? I have a bunch of ten hard to read architecture drawings from the last century, no statics calcu...

Re: fcVM workbench
I will try on a windows machine when I find one. Ok I managed to reproduce your error on a windows machine with a fresh set of dependencies. The issue is with the scipy dependency. It was upgraded from version 1.11.3 to version 1.13.0 on conda-forge and this latest version does not play nicely with...

Re: [CfdOF] Badguir / Wind tower simulation + water cooling
Thanks a lot for your return, I never used buoyantPimpleFoam (I didn't even know it's existence). I will deeply check what you've done. It's seems to have all I need (pressure, velocity and temperature). You seems to work only on Freecad. Nothing with Paraview? Thanks a lot The second picture, the ...

Re: fcVM workbench
The PyVistaQt error is my fault. That was an experiment. I need to remove that import. Now fixed. Try running something really simple, like VM_Uniaxial_Tension_Example.FCStd or Simple Shear.FCStd Did a complete new installation of miniforge (as admin) and of the dependencies. Just updated the fcVM-...

Re: fcVM workbench
Just loaded an old fcvm-version from last month. Same cholesky error, which shouldnt happen. Maybe I did something wrong when installing the dependencies. I used the "User" option for install, not the admin option. And I cant remember what I did the last time. I will delete all stuff and r...
