Re: New feature: ProfileEdges - Cut open edges [Merged]

Hi Russ, I am trying to use the profile open edges on the attached model. For some reason it seems to fail on every edge I have tried. I would like to run a finishing endmill down a few of the edges to clean up after roughing: edgeProfile1.png The result: edgeProfile2.png Any ideas? Thanks, Dan OS: ...

Once one z height is complete I would like the tool to start again at the next z height from the same start point (as set). These are the path params that I h...

Re: Cloned Object Issues

That's what it's all about with the Path clones: Make the placement independent from the source object. If you want to create another tool for Path, it should respect this too. It is essential e.g. for milling the backside of an object. Maybe I didn't explain the question very well. The issue is th...

Re: Cloned Object Issues

Maybe you could place your clone inside a Compound so location is reset, then use the Path tools on the Compound object instead. ;) That might work if you knew that you needed the helpers before you set the job up and included them in the compound. Unfortunately it only becomes apparent that a help...
