Here is the first round. I have since changed the cut pattern to a spiral and lowered the overlap. This should fix the funky edges, but I have not had a chance to try it out.

Re: Help with linuxcnc_post?

SUCCESS!!! I post-processed the job as CNC3.ngc, loaded it onto a 512MB flash drive, then plugged the drive into the router. I auto-homed, then moved the tool over where I wanted the origin point. I zeroed x and y, then set the tool-setting puck on the workbed. After zeroing the z-axis onto the wor...

Re: New feature: ProfileEdges - Cut open edges

Feel free to submit your ideas for tackling the open edges, or even a PR for such a feature. As a novice, I yield to you all who really do know what your doing. At the moment. I am more like...

What do you think, can this work ? Unfortunately I don't have the time to test, but I'd be happy to hear back from your experiments.

Re: Assembly 4 workbench

I've been trying to learn ASM4 to make some more tutorial videos. I recreated an old 3D Printer assembly in ASM4. I'm really impressed with ASM4, at first I didn't like the workflow compared to traditional assembly methods but it is really simple and flexible. Asm4Ani.gif Well done Zolko, really imp...

Re: LibLathe - Lathe Path Generation

Hello gents, I recently shifted my interest back to turning operations. I've already experimented with Sliptonic's 4th axis mapping for milling, but now the full turning is catching my eye on the 5 axes. Is there a prototype or macro of your work that i could test? There is a liblathe branch of Fre...
