Modify spacing and direction of paths for Surface 3D operation in Path workbench
If I create a Surface 3D operation in the Path workbench, the spacing between the paths seems to be the tool diameter, by default. But I see no way of changing it. Also, the paths are always aligned with the X axis. Apart from rotating the entire part before creating the operation, is there any way ...

Surface 3D does not work in negative Z
If I create a shape in the positive Z space, surface 3D works fine, but if the shape is in the negative Z space, surface 3D creates a flat path at Z=0. The depth values look good though. Re: Can't edit TagDressup
Autogenerate works. Adding or editing a tag by clicking on the path works. Adding or editing a tag by editing the values in the combo box does not work, even if coordinates are precisely on the path (not sure whether values like 1 mm or 7 mm can raise rounding errors). If the height of a tag coincid...

Sketcher font hard to read (Windows 10)
Despite https://www.freecadweb.org/tracker/view.php?id=1226 being presumably fixed with v0.16, I still find the constraint font, at least in Windows 10, hard to read – regardless of color or font size. The quality also changes when zooming and is not the same for a given zoom level. font_rendering.p...

Re: Keep tool down
Yes! Very cool. I only find it a little strange that it's something that's buried deep inside the Combo window and not directly accessible when defining the operation.

Re: Why can you only use named constraints in expressions?
That makes sense.
Maybe there should be a notification if the user tries to delete a constraint that is used in an expression somewhere?

Mark constraints from expressions in document window?
If a constraint's value is defined through an expression, it will have a little f(x) in a blue ball in the list in the combo box. I personally, and a lot of other people I assume, focus more on the document window when designing a part. In the document window, a constraint from an expression is show...

Why can you only use named constraints in expressions?
If I want to create e. g. a square part I could use the length of one side (or the horizontal position of the end point) as the length of the other side of the square in the sketch. In the attached file the horizonal constraint was originally Constraint10 , but I could not reference it using Sketch....

Re: Cut a hole in a box?
I suggest you upgrade to v0.17, I feel it's stable enough use Part Design instead of Part workbench pad_pocket.png You create a sketch in the XY-plane and create your box using the "pad" function. Then you select the top (Z positive) face of the box and make a sketch with your smaller rect...
