Re: glider workbench

That looks great actually like that. Adjusting visually the offset is already a great step ahead. I was actually asking myself if they were modelled with or without the offset. I don't think so as they all look so basic, but when looking more carefully I think there would be much more wrinkle on the...

Re: glider workbench

Ok, so you can't really design such a parachute with OpenGlider, as the "free" cell in the middle won't go up, and the shape of the panels will be wrong.
Might not be so easy to simulate...

Re: glider workbench

Hello,

Just by curiosity, how did you do to decrease the number of cell to 7? Even by removing all lines I can't go lower than 10 cells

Re: glider workbench

advanced ribholes should be possible with some python coding. Maybe using a sketch as the base and a FeaturePython object for the rib-mapping. Currently I don't have time for implementing this feature. But I guess it shouldn't be too much work. Well, if you say so, I can only trust you :-) OpenGlid...

Re: glider workbench

Hello, You know the limitation of OpenGliderbetter than me, so I won't make a list here. But is there any plan to make "advanced" rib holes and cross cells diagonales? I guess it's not an easy task, but these are the most restraining missing features so far to me. And evetually, curved cut...

Re: glider workbench

Yes, it's not the easiest one :-) Again many many thanks for your help. For questions about its use, should I ask here or create another topic? Or somewhere else? As you guessed, I'm not a developer, so i can't really help coding, but if I may help help in any way, ask me. If I'm able to do it, that...

Re: glider workbench

Only one installation of pivy, this i'm sure as I started again with a fresh install. Looo... I'm confused. I had to switch off my computer this morning, and after reboot, now everything works... I did restart freecad, the session, but not the computer itself. Weird. I'm really really sorry for the ...

Re: glider workbench

Oh, yes, sorry, I haven't open the glider workbench before.
Both solution works now.

your last test gives "'/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/pivy/__init__.pyc'"

Both fail too, with the same error message:
