Re: FCGears: some issues when using values from Spreadsheet
Will try to! I did this gearbox as a forward design (not to say quick and dirty) to do some testing, now I'm starting from scratch to do it properly with a spreadsheet and well calculated distances.

Re: FCGears: some issues when using values from Spreadsheet
Any value would trigger the issue, but I just realized that with newer versions it just works. I feel like an A-hole now.

FCGears: some issues when using values from Spreadsheet
Hi! I want to start debugging some issues I have while using FCGears with parameters taken from a spreadsheet. Some of the values are correctly assigned but some don't. The gears starts showing some errors after the assignment and it shows the "std::bad_cast" exception. I don't know where ...

Here's half of it!: https://i.imgur.com/qmnHCI4.mp4
It's working a little clanky because I mixed up the size of the holes and had to use a hand drill to enlarge them, and I over did it. Now the gears touch the housing

Re: call for screenshots - By Yorik
Did you use the assemlby2 workbench for this? Cool robot! No, that was a "manual" assembly by placing the parts in the right position. I'm trying to learn how to use Assembly3 but haven't got the time for it BTW: It seems that this robot uses little dc motors with gear boxes to move each ...

Re: WIP: torsen differential
Some updates on the gearbox housing. I redesign it, move the gears off-set and moved the bevel gear to a "mid plane". The most important thing is that now the gear was split into 3 "more printable" parts.

Re: WIP: torsen differential
[video] I will look for an interactive solution - the user should rotate the gears and the worms should follow. Woah!! Dude, great job! Can that be achieved? Is there a way to it with the Assembly3 bench? I've recently downloaded the packed version of 0.17 that includes the bench, but haven't got m...
