Re: Linux (Raspberry Pi) installation, strange icons displayed.
I looked for Bitmaps/Theme/ThemeSearchPaths, but there's nothing after Theme, and Theme is empty with no options. And what did I write at end of my initial reply? You need to create a new Boolean under Theme because it doesn't exist by default. The name has to match exactly, it's case sensitive. Oo...

Re: Linux (Raspberry Pi) installation, strange icons displayed.
In https://wiki.freecad.org/Fine-tuning go down to: Bitmaps/Theme/ThemeSearchPaths (boolean): Set to false so FreeCAD uses its included icons instead of the system icon theme on Linux. That parameter will most likely need to be created but should fix your issue. Thank you, I will give that a try.

Linux (Raspberry Pi) installation, strange icons displayed.
After what seemed like a successful build of FreeCAD on a Raspberry Pi, I noticed that some icons like the New File and Open File icons are the same generic icon. Does anyone know why this is so or how to fix the issue? Thank you.

How to Clean FreeCAD installation on Raspberry Pi
Hello, I followed the instructions to build the latest FreeCAD 0.22, on a Raspberry Pi 4 using RPI OS and it seems to have built successfully. However, inside the folder where it was built there are the sources and other files totaling several Gb of data. Is there a way to clean what is not needed? ...

Re: Problem visualizing curve of thin parabolic reflector
I have changed some of the constraints on the sketch, most particularly the semi-circle that forms the edge should be tangent to the curves that form the dish. I have added a construction line to maintain constant thickness. reflector.png Ah I see. Thank you very much. This is what I was hoping to ...

Re: Problem visualizing curve of thin parabolic reflector
that is 2.5mm thick It is not, it is of variable thickness. Were you aiming for constant thickness? Initially yes, but with moving things around I'm not surprised that it is not but had not noticed. I would correct this later. This model was intended to try rounding the edge and not final. That is ...

Problem visualizing curve of thin parabolic reflector
Dear All, I constructed a reflector that is 2.5mm thick and the edge is curved. However, over part of the reflector edge there is a strange effect. Please can someone tell me what it is or if there's a way to prevent it, or if its just some strange of bug? My system is: OS: Windows 10 Version 2009 W...

Re: Problem with Section View in TechDraw, Access Violation Exception
I selected the "Body" and when it was highlighted I inserted it as a view in TechDraw and this time when I went to insert a section view it worked! For some reason I didn't think the item was selected the first time I chose Body so I selected the Pocket item in the Model tree. Problem solv...

Re: Problem with Section View in TechDraw, Access Violation Exception
Thank you for looking into it. I will have to check how I insert the model into the view when I get home tonight. I think I selected the last operation to highlight the model in green, then switched to the drawing page and inserted the part. I didn't use a macro as far as I know, I just used the ico...
