I'm also ising a nozzle 0.2mm and a print high of 0.2mm.
Do you think I should maybe switch to a nozzle like 0.4mm and a higher layer high like 0.3 or higher?

By "tilted at a 45 degree angle using supports" you mean I should tilt the part in the slicer 45 degree?
