Assembly 2 basically does it like that. That is you can use any location. If the file is not found on that location it automatically checks relative path in regards to the assembly related document for that file name. From exchanging the project point of view (outside of any "local setup"...

Yes I agree, I am not experienced in Freecad and 0.17 so much differs from 0.16 that I was not able to find right way to achieve the result.

Thank you for the model in 0.17.

And I have one question do you advice to use 0.16 or 0.17 version ?
The version 0.16 is going to be abandoned ?
