Re: [FR] Allow toggling visibility while in "Reference selection" mode.

Trying to "select and show/hide something in the treeview while in "Select reference" mode just complains that "Selection not allowed by filter. Wirefame works to select sketch lines inside a solid. error "gp_Dir() - input vector has zero norm". I see the same in 0.20 ...

Re: Linkstage3 UI: can't move Property View to another monitor

This is one of the reasons I gave up on Linkstage, I have a really nice dual monitor system and I can only use one monitor when I run it. If I switch back and forth between standard and LInkstage then my panel placements get all messed up.

Re: How to fix Sketch orientation?

This is what I use. It's the same code posted by DeepSOIC and Kisolre only I made it a one step process and put it in a easy to use Dialog, see pic. This will take any Sketch and change it's Support (to the selected) while preserving sketch location. By using this you can attach sketches to faces an...

Re: how to connect or refer a sketch to the geometry of another body

To the OP. You can use a shapebinder. If you set the shapebinder to wireframe and then rotate it slightly off axis you can get access to the lines you want and get external geo. You can rotate a Sketch off axis by Alt + Left mouse button.

Re: What options exist for reorganizing objects in the tree ?

I imported some large step models and the first thing I did was to set globally random colors to the file, this at least gave me some idea of where the object dividing lines were located.

For sure you need "Sync selection" enabled. This will hightlight tree parts for 3D selections.

A Tip on how to view data during development

We are always looking for good ways to view data, here is a way using Add properties. Make a new add property of string data and view it in the Properties panel, have your code update the property. See pic; I update my new "Copy_camera" property with getcamera() data in realtime. It's real...

Re: Need help. Sketcher opens with 90dergee flip

Not sure why it's doing that but it's not like opening a text document where the app always knows what to do, that being said you might need to deal with some irregularities. Most everyone has seen Sketcher open in a different orientation but typically not at 90 degrees. Sketcher has a property to m...

Re: PartDesign Gui (Editing Revolve and Helix selection logic)

Thanks chrisb. Since I see this issue differently on my system I will make a general statement: The "Update view" is common to Revolve, Helix, both Additive and Subtractive functions, whatever code is used to fix the Revolve should probably be inserted in the others. I also see some issues...
