Re: Display of a point not attached to the lines outside the sketch.

I see. Points are currently always treated as construction mode geometry. An option to have them either normal mode or construction mode might make sense, but I'm sure this has already been discussed (and probably proposed) many times.

Re: Export your solids to show in browser

Excellent work. If the model has different colors is this also shown on the web?

Re: Curves WB: Map sketch on surface

Ok, so in the case of a cylinder, what does the boundary represent. I think if you imagine flattening out the cylinder face it would fit inside the boundary. Any elements outside that boundary would be either too tall for the cylinder face or would overlap as though wrapping around more than once.

This the default parametrization of cylinders in FreeCAD ([0, height, 0, 2*pi])
But if Scale property of Sketch_on_Surface is True, you can resize the blue boundary box of Mapped_Sketch to your liking.
Can also add construction lines as boundaries on pre-existing sketch?

Re: Display of a point not attached to the lines outside the sketch.

Here is a way, but it is a hack and would only work in 0.19, and possibly only a very recent build. https://youtu.be/-bYlGMNnlhk An alternative would be to create a second sketch only to be used as the reference, consisting of a visible line segment connected from one point to the other. The circle ...

Re: Use vertice from reference sketch in a new sketch - datum point needed?

It might be the datum plane is blocking the sketch beneath it. Try hiding it.

Re: Where are the sketcher preferences?

0.16 is now very outdated. Perhaps the sketcher options were not yet available in that version. You should see something similar to the attached image in the edit -> preferences dialog.

Re: section data

In 0.19 you can add dynamic properties to most objects. Right click in the property view and select Show All. Then right click again to see the add property and remove property options.

Re: Inventor Navigation Style Option

Hover over the icon to see the mouse + keyboard commands. Selecting a face would be shift + left mouse button.
