Re: Run an in-memory macro as if run by MacroManager

That fixed the addon manager issue. I had tried adding some ssl-related stuff to the url, but none of it worked.

Re: Ability to attach a Macro (or Macros) to a Document as a Spreadsheet is attached to a Document.

Edit: fixed a bug. Try again if it failed for you. 0.2021.10.25.rev3 is latest/greatest. ********* Update: 0.2021.10.25.rev2 Now supports the macro name in addition to full code text. Make the text document a single line: run=/home/my/path/to/my/macro/mymacro.FCStd No spaces, just run= followed by t...

ExtMan addon also fails to fetch these. 2) Would be fun to have a top 10 most installed this week/month/all-time/whatever 3) I'd l...

Re: How to modify property documentation

Perhaps you are removing the old property and adding the new one before the system can react if expressions are not broken by doing this.

Re: Addon Manager - Macros

The LP (lib pack) version since you already tried the conda version. This one is out of date, but I believe the addon manager works with it. You could use only for installing macros as a workaround. I have the same build still installed, but a slightly older version (16093 instead of 16110). https:/...

Attach your profile to the first edge of the spine, map mode normal to edge.

You should, of course, use Part Design sweep instead.

Re: Parametric Solid built from Surfaces ?

Even if surface modeling is not indicated for this particular project it's still good to explore the options and have them in your bag of tricks should the need arise.

Re: Run an in-memory macro as if run by MacroManager

This might or might not work. The variable macro_string could be loaded from a file, but some post processing might be needed. For example \n in the string will generate an EOL error. \n can be replaced with chr(13) macro_string =\ ''' import FreeCAD FreeCAD.Console.PrintMessage(some_variable) ''' i...

Re: Parametric Solid built from Surfaces ?

Part Shape builder is not parametric, unfortunately. Surface workbench is parametric. When you get the faces all made go to Curves workbench and use the solid creation tool there (green box icon).
