Re: Get list of objects in another FCStd file...

@kbwbe off-topic but relevant to reading xml. Do you think your XML reader can replace the FC dependency on libexpat ? Hi @Kunda1, as @kkremitzky already said, it cannot due to coin. Only my A2plus-WB does not need to access libexpat anymore. I have had problems with my BOM/Partlist modul, which ar...

Re: Another approach to assembly solver (A2plus)

Maybe this was a little too fast, sorry for not reporting 1h ago. I see the (1) "show connected elements" and the (2) "toggle transparency" not working. Can also be due to my "unstable" (repository name) openSuSE FC version. (1) only selects the items in tree view on here, NO higlighting or making-...

Re: Get list of objects in another FCStd file...

I'm trying to sort out how to get at the objects in another file. Currently, I'm using mergeProject(), which works fine, but the problem is, I have no way to know exactly what objects were added to the active document. Once I import the objects, I need to manipulate them, and I can only guess what ...

Re: Another approach to assembly solver (A2plus)

Hi everyone, a new release of A2plus is out ! V0.2.5 What's new ? - new XML document reader, avoiding use of libexpat.so due to recent problems with that library within FC - partlist/BOM now more stable on many different systems - new command "recursive update of imported parts". (To be activated on...

Re: Another approach to assembly solver (A2plus)

something like that? axis-coincident.png ASM.KKM-1309.01b.fcstd ... Have you only done this by the last axisCoincident constraint or by also using workarounds? Hi Guy's, as "cylindersTangent" constraint is still on my todo list, this is some magic of @easyw-fc. I am curious how this was possible ! :D

Re: Another approach to assembly solver (A2plus)

ping ping Hi Guy's, devel branch is ready for testing now. - recursive update (to be activated in preferences) - reworked partlist - reworked XML document reader Please do tests on different systems (linux, conda-builds, win), also with exotic filenames (german umlaut's, french accents etc.). Tx in...

Re: Assembling two objects

Thanks, that worked like a charm! Technically it is not a die, but its working principle is very similar, e.g. to distribute a melt evenly throughout a chamber. Does anyone know a way to update the parts in A2Plus to adjust for fitment issues? Hi, the button in toolbar with the green recycling symb...
