Re: Best Known Method for attaching a sketch/part?

I .... Get that, but don't know how to do that referencing? You can have a look at the example by kisoire, but maybe to understand it you first need something simpler? This example and attached file shows how to use the value of ConstraintA (contained in SketchA) as the value of ConstraintB (contai...

Re: [Coordination] Ubuntu freecad-stable PPA update to 0.18

I'm even wondering if parametric should be cut from the short description... This description can be no more than 60-character long. Re: Changing a value then reverting change results in different dimensions

1. If all posts would quote the version of FreeCAD (in my case 1.7)... WIN 7 Pro

2. Under Edit/Preferences/Display/3D - I see no mention of showing/hiding said cube!?
Please someone clear this up!?
It was introduced in 0.18, so you don't have it in your 0.17 version...

Re: How do I move a sketch in an axis?

I had forgotten about this, and am not sure if this was mentioned before in this thread (TLDR again), but to avoid the Local Coordinate System of your Sketches you can detach each from the XZ Plane. Here's how: In the Part Design WB click a Sketch in the history tree to select it. From the Part Desi...

Re: 0.18 Quick Reference Guides Are Released
