Re: Anaglyph stereo colors double vision

Go ahead and file a bug report (so the issue isn't forgotten) and link it to your first post in this thread, and also post back here to include a link to your bug report.

You'll have to create an account in the bug tracker if you haven't done so already.

Re: 2.5D tube lasercutting ; how to draw?

http://i66.tinypic.com/9i5q20.jpg One way to make the yellow slot on the tube is to create a sketch of the tube (Sketch in the attached file) and Part WB > Extrude it. Then make a sketch (Sketch001 in the attached file) of the desired path and Part WB > Extrude that too. From there make a Part WB >...

Re: Unknown PAD spacing object thats not listed in model view

I'll just answer the questions for which I feel knowledgeable. Wow - you were able to take the file i'd given up on and in a short time fix what I played with for hours trying to do. Stick with it and soon you will be able to create that model in only a few minutes too. My question is: Was the first...

Re: Options for the orientation cube?

A flat 2D view that you get when you click a side of the cube. If you click "Front" it turns the rotated 3D view to be a perfectly flat display of X and Y or whatever two axes. I just use NumPad 1 through 6, or click one of the Standard View icons. https://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/index.php?title=St...

Re: Unknown PAD spacing object thats not listed in model view

I then created a 2nd sketch on top of the first pad face, Hi Sarcoise, and welcome! Looking at the Tools > Dependency Graph of your model, the first Sketch used to build your model is Top Layer, and the Sketch used next is Top Walls: 20181114a.png But Top Walls isn't attached to anything; instead i...

More info on Sketcher Carbon Copy, from Abdullah (the person who coded it):

You have to be in a Sketch first in order to Carbon Copy another Sketch into it.

Re: Create circular tube with holes

I found something that might help me. https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?t=8728 That was way back, before FreeCAD 0.17 brought the ability to add Datum Planes in Part Design, and the work flow has changed in Part Design since then. That topic contains a link to one of the great mini-tutoria...

Re: Sweep issues with splines

I did discover that the problem is related to the resolution of the curve with respect to it's length. We had a possibly similar problem when creating a helix but here the ends would become distorted. I wonder if the problems are related somehow. https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=840...
