Re: SVG import is empty

At the step where both Path & Path001 are selected, the Uprade tool of Draft WB does ... nothing. May you have a clue about what is happening ? Oddly, I tried again and it didn't work so I closed the file without saving and tried again, and this time it did work. I think the trick is to select Path...

Re: SVG import is empty

openBrain replied while I was typing, but I'll post a different method. I have now got a sketch with my outline in it. But it doesn't seem to be like other sketches I've drawn. I can't extrude it or rotate it about an axis to make a solid. which is my goal. It needs to enclose an area in order to ma...

No idea what it means. Do you ?
I don't know what it means either. You might want to add "Geold index out range" to the subject of this topic, so a developer might see it.

Re: SVG import is empty

Is there anything more to try? After Importing the .svg file (shoose the "SVG as geometry" radio button), press the keyboard V key, release and then press the F key. Or from the View toolbar click the Fit All tool (magnifying glass icon on white background). Here's the resulting file, if that doesn...

Re: Bug or workflow problem with PartDesign - guidance required

A Recompute of either of your files shows this in the Report View: Exception (Tue Jan 22 09:31:05 2019): Sketch::checkGeoId. GeoId index out range. I'm also unable to open Sketch without first running the Sketch Validation Tool, but then Find and subsequent Fix of Invalid Constraints deletes everyth...

Re: Fillet BRep_API: command not done

The double extrusion comes from a rather special behaviour of the Extrude dialog. Every apply creates a new object and the ok button adds a final one. That seems confusing, should that be the desired behavior? After clicking the Apply button once I don't think clicking the Ok button should create a...

I think you experience the same thing as me when I am going to edit in a model.
Yes, it looks like the Polar Patterns take quite a long time.

I cannot understand that modeling would be complex and heavy parts.
To me it doesn't seem like it should take so long either...

Re: Problem with <fillet> on a componenet

Running the Macro Force Recompute fixed Fillet001 for me, but with Compound visible there is some Z-fighting happening that I can't figure out. openBrain figured out. Deleting Compound and making a Fusion of Fillet001 and Fusion fixed that. OS: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS Word size of OS: 32-bit Word size of...

Re: F-CAD get slower and slower

But while in sketch edit mode, I can move points on the sketch and everything is fluid. As soon as I exit the sketch, the model recompute, and it takes about 16 seconds for me. I'm thinking that the polar patterns may be the reason. I recreated part of the model using a Spreadsheet, Sketcher > Carb...
