Re: Ads on Youtube goes more and more anoying, where to go?

Hi,

Step side: It could be great if this forum can support more video platforms in a tag '['video']' than youtube only.
I have no idea how easy or hard is add it to the tag.

PS: I'm using Odysee ;)

Re: Fasteners workbench additions?

Hi, Image is image. One rivet, three grip distances. Theoretically there are infinity amount of grip distances - for example range <8;12>. Minor deformations are unimportant (usually). Re: Fasteners workbench additions?

Hi, I'm not a part of Fasteners workbench developers, but rivets are a little bit different from other fasteners. It is a little bit trickie - for any fasteners CAD tool. Rivet is not single geometry. - First geometry is a rivet blank - rivet as You buy it. But this is not geometry You want to have ...

Re: Direct modeling now in low cost CAD

Hi, IMO, direct modeling for CAD doesn't make since, it's fine for graphic editing programs but not CAD. I do not agree. In company I'm working. - 3D models from design department are feature models (parametrized). Direct modeling is forbidden - WITH EXCEPTIONS. One of the exceptions are downloaded ...

Re: [Feature discussion] Cosmetic thread - 3D geometry

Hi, New version on Github (correction to previous commit) https://github.com/martinproks/cosmeticthread3d/tree/main Still Part version only, but thanks to chrisb advice there is a way how to use it with PartDesign to even now - use ShapeBinder or SubShapeBinder to PD objects first and then attach th...
