Re: 100 cad exercises

Question: in Tech Draw can I create an angular dimension as shown below: Not that I know of. It requires selection of two edges that do not exist... Maybe we could request that it accept three vertices. Maybe first select two outside vertices, last selection to be the tip of the angle. ^^I added a ...

The good thing with a prosthetic is that if it breaks under use, you can built a better one.

Re: FreeCAD 0.18, Libs: 0.18R14726 (Git)

There may have been internal changes to these objects since last year, v0.17 was still very much in development - it was only officially released 5 ½ months ago.

I believe that GeoFeatureGroup relates to the Part container, and it was modified in the past year I think.

Re: Problems with the Active Body highlight color.

Thanks. This will cause other problems. The tree view doesn't know what a body or part container is, instead it gets a signal from the document if an object has been activated to render this is in a special mode. Re: Axonometric view. Why this octant of the space?

Hi, Comfortable: the same meaning as read in a dictionary. You still have not given a real answer on how you think viewing the object from another octant could be considered "more comfortable". And you won't be able to, because it is not based on any provable fact. I could even retort that it would ...

Re: Essential Training for FreeCAD?

In terms of what I'm hoping to do with FreeCAD - I need to design a few little enclosures that I'll get made into molds. In solidworks there is a whole plastics whatsit that does everything you can think of (actually considerably more than I could think of). I doubt that Mold tools would be include...

Re: How to Trim two Surfaces and apply a Edge Fillet

That some moron thinks it is OK to post in English in the German forum is not my problem, and you should report the idiot. I can tell you that I hit hard on idiots who post in English in the French forum, because I know that even if I am fluent in English, there is a reason that some users go to the...
