I have a new Mac, and it will only let me run once instance at a time.
How can I configure it to open more than once Instance from the Finder?

Re: Spliting a Loft
Do you need B-spline ? 2 arcs can do the same ! You should reuse the same path between different bodies with PartDesign_SubShapeBinder . You should attach the circle to the path ( Part_EditAttachment ). thanks, I'll read through those sections. I did use a B-split to create the path of the pin. I t...

Re: Spliting a Loft
I think several scenarios: - draw the complete part, subtract the pin and cut the part in half in the plane of the pin - draw separately the bottom, the top, the pin in 3 bodies and make 2 boolean subtractions - draw the complete piece, dig a groove in it from below, introduce the pin, draw a cover...

Spliting a Loft
I have a design question for the experts to noodle on. I'm making a specific sunroof part that broke on my car. The original part is a large plastic piece with a metal pin molded into it. My original plan was to remake the piece and have it all 3d metal printed, but that is a bit costly these days. ...

Offset Fillet?
I have a part that I'm trying to replicate and the back has a fillet that I'm not able to get based on the design. It took me a bit to get this design to work as is :-) Is there a way to add a fillet to one-side of an edge, or other approach? Picture attached, the grey part is the original and you c...

Re: Exporting STP with face color
The simple copy will not have the colors of the original. As already mentioned, you have to reapply the colors. Have you done that? Yes. - I select the original body, - in Parts WB I created a simple copy, - click on new body created from the simple copy, - right click set colors, it won't let me s...

Re: Exporting STP with face color
For Part objects face colors are exported in the STP file, but for some reason this does not work for PartDesign bodies. So a possible workaound is to create a Part_SimpleCopy from the body, reapply the colors (right-click the object in the tree and select 'Set colors...') and then export the new o...
