Re: How to bevel sections of a face in different angles?

One more question: To apply thickness I had to select a face, which makes it vulnerable to topological naming. Is there a possibility to use one of the principal planes or a DatumPlane instead?

Re: How to bevel sections of a face in different angles?

So here is my PartDesign proposal. It has the following drawbacks:
- I had to cut at least 1.5mm from the bottom to make thickness succeed
- thickness doesn't work to the inside.

Re: How to bevel sections of a face in different angles?

I wanted to follow chrisb's proposal to make it all in one workbench. I realised that Sketch has self intersections:

Yet it can be padded. Should the line in the middle better be a construction line?

Re: Sketcher tutorial

Hi Chris, thank you again for the new section about constraints. Even if I can handle things correctly, I prefer to understand why. Can you tell me, why there are two different messages for the same thing? The "Unsolved" example seems to be just "Overconstrained". Similar with the "Redundant" case a...

Re: Sketcher tutorial

Hi Chris, thank you very much for this document. I have used Sketcher with pretty much success until now, but working through your tutorial shows that there were considerable gaps. I like the information about the DOF of every geometric element. I never much thought about it, just used them and trie...

If that's just why, use a universal flexible hose
In the meantime it became an interesting problem in itself for which I wanted to have a solution.
