Re: inconsistent behavior of datum plane
Hi DeepSOIC, thank you. It worked but, offset in X with command in Z (???) The offset is always calculated with respect to the local coordinate system of the plane. Z is always perpendicular to the plane. Thanks for that chrisb, it might be that I'm starting to understand! So, by logic, the datum p...

Re: inconsistent behavior of datum plane
Trying to input 12 on X transition results in Y shifting.(???) see pic. Hi! This is a known problem with editing Attachment Offset using Placement dialog. It just doesn't work well. Please don't use that triple-dot button on Attachment Offset property. Use any other mean of changing it: * open datu...

Re: inconsistent behavior of datum plane
Ops! Just fond this.
It seems I didn't downloaded the latest version. It might be that this is why I'm getting inconsistent behavior.
Any idea?

Re: inconsistent behavior of datum plane
The datumplane must be in the same body of the piece (foot center plate). Or, if need, you have to import the shape (shapebinder) in an other body if the part is an other. Hello GlouGlou, thanks for the hint. I haven't learned how to use ShapeBinder yet and will look into it. The Body002 is separat...
