Re: Ticket #3821 - Docker env build container, now with FEM!

I managed to solve it a few minutes ago, doing the other way around :D (installing native drivers on the Docker image) apt install kmod mesa-utils wget http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/390.132/NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-390.132.run chmod +x NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-390.132.run ./NVIDIA-Linux-...

Re: Ticket #3821 - Docker env build container, now with FEM!

Hello iyd, very glad to hear you're finding the project useful! As for your GPU driver problem, I believe the problem is that the graphics drivers installed in the docker container are different to the graphics drivers on the host machine. FreeCAD is trying to communicate in one driver's language, ...

Re: Regression in ArchWall.py, method parameters removed as part of docstring work

Ah, very sorry everyone, I'm the author of that change. It was a mistake to edit parameters when the change was explicitly just about documentation.

Not sure what I was thinking at the time.

Re: This is now a thread about documentation

Then consider making PRs more often than just all at once.thatbway your patches won't rot due to other commitments. Even if, as you said, encode your misunderstandings into your patches - it's still better than not submitting any patches at all. Someone else may be available to correct some of the ...

Re: Ticket #3821 - Docker env build container, now with FEM!

Hey there guys, very cool project! For me on Ubuntu 16.04 it only works if I run a modified version of the command in the Wiki : docker run -it --rm \ -v $fc_source:/mnt/source \ -v $fc_build:/mnt/build \ -v $other_files:/mnt/files \ --network host -e "DISPLAY" -e "QT_X11_NO_MITSHM=1" -v /tmp/.X11-...

Re: This is now a thread about documentation

How's the progress going ? Slower than I'd like, but it's certainly getting faster as I understand more. I've got docstrings for Wall, IFC, Floor, Component, Project, and I'm currently working on Site's interesting compass system. It's a little vague what each of the compasses are supposed to be po...

Great work!!!
Thank you for your contributions. This is very very needed.
Thank you @vocx for your help here, as well.

It's a great method for familiarising myself with the source.

Re: Why are class names prefixed with an underscore?

Most valuable player? Minimum viable product. Dumb startup industry corporate speak. I just meant I'll wait until I've ironed out the very obvious problems, and people can look at a large enough portion of it, that they can appreciate what it's supposed to look like, if expanded further. Your inden...

Re: Why are class names prefixed with an underscore?

What about a diagram produced with GraphViz? Doxygen creates a diagram of the relationship between the classes. It uses the "dot" program which is included with GraphViz. Well, Doxygen is providing all the XML it needs so it should work. Worst case scenario is we use the graphvis python bindings to...
