Re: Pyramid addition to Geometric Primitives

Many times now I've wanted to make a Pyramid type shape for various reasons and the process in converting a wedge to a Pyramid is rather laborious/tedious. While you're waiting for the proper fix to be applied to the source code, you might find a use for this crude macro but it's only tested on 0.1...

##double pound signs
I thought this was just a slip up in the topic but I notice the Wiki page also contains what I've always known to be a hash sign - # being called a pound sign. As someone who carries the real thing around to pay for goods and services it's always been displayed as a £

Re: draft line fails with bad error message

I now realise that the error was fixed by https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/commit/a66c8a3 and the original change wasn't present in my old build. I can now understand why you have raised this because the root cause is being 'hidden' (in this case the importSVG.py bug) making the triage process lon...

Re: draft line fails with bad error message

I'd never seen that error before so I tried with two builds and cannot reproduce it. Could this be a specific Python version issue as I cannot see any syntax error in your output, as if it's a false positive? All I get is: Draft workbench activated Pick first point Pick next point OS: Windows 7 SP 1...

Re: Editing Field in an existing file using 0.19.17128 causes Error

May I ask you, how the workarounds look like? Interrestingly this problem doesn't appear with FC 0.18.16131. I assume one workaround would be: reediting a field with FC 0.18 - as long as I don't make use of the new cosmetic functions. Theese seem to disappear when saving with FC 0.18 ... I have dua...

Re: App::Link: the big merge

If I create my own model in PartDesign Wb initially with a Fillet and then deleted before closing the file I get the same message as above but if I create the exact same model using Sketcher and Part Wbs with a Fillet and then deleted, I can close the file with no error feedback in the Report View.

Re: App::Link: the big merge

When attempting to replicate @user1234's crash using the Windows build, I do not get a crash on deletion of the Fillet but when closing the file and Discarding the Changes I get the following in the Report View: Unhandled Base::Exception caught in GUIApplication::notify. The error message is: Access...

Re: Addon manager proxy blocked - which adress

Can someone help me out and tell me, which link/IP/adress i need to unblock from proxy to get access to the addons? The base url in src\Mod\AddonManager\addonmanager_workers.py is https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD-addons , I believe that is what you require. EDIT: The macros base url is https://gi...

Re: Image workbench

The issue status is still 'open'. It's very sad. I just had a quick look through the topic and it would appear on the Windows box you had only tried the build(s) with Qt5.6. If so, there has been some success with the use of the Qt5.12.1 builds of 0.19, the current one is FreeCAD_0.19.17477_x64_LP_...
