Re: Erreur python "module not found" : 'pivy_trackers.tracker'

I believe somewhere I read it's because the Trails Wb uses a special build of Pivy that has functionality the default doesn't, see https://github.com/joelgraff/pivy_trackers

Re: SSD advice

Not much point in posting it as it was in 2019, many changes have gone on and back then I only had Windows. It needs bringing up-to-date and Linux testing before I'll post it up. I'll see what I can do over the weekend but no promises.

to get a surface sheet layout to cut and bend sheet metal
Now that I know the end goal, try this, it was done with the Mesh Design Workbench > Unwrap Face, I had to use an old Windows Build in order to achieve it unfortunately, probably can be done in 0.18.4 but not sure.

A Sweep isn't absolutely perfect but it looks acceptable to me see attached. OS: Windows 7 Version 6.1 (Build 7601: SP 1) Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit Version: 0.20.24694 (Git) Build type: Release Branch: master Hash: 111a21e45cd63e0d84b5c16e09ad599712ee11ae Python version: 3.8.6+ Qt version: 5.15.1...

Re: SSD advice

Touch wood, I've never had an SSD fail on me, probably because I have a proper Disaster Recovery setup but your general premise is correct SSD's should be used for more static file systems. Most Windows users in particular don't realise how many small files are being held in their Temp folder includ...

Re: Display point coordinates near each point?

Sometimes, 3D printing isn't accurate enough, or the materials aren't strong enough, so they ask me to have the machine shop make the part instead. Since they're doing this manually, using a DRO, they want distances from the origin in x and y to position holes in a piece of material. I can use dime...

Re: BUG: Center Line Style settings are ignored

Should I go straight for a PR or fill in a bug report first? Confirmed, by all means please submit a PR referencing this thread, no point in submitting a bug report for something like this IMHO. OS: Windows 7 Version 6.1 (Build 7601: SP 1) Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit Version: 0.20.24694 (Git) Buil...

Re: BUG: freecad:editable text not working in template or wiki example

You can't state [BUG] on a thread title when you're not even using the correct instructions, Drawing and Techdraw aren't the same thing, it even states that Drawing is obsolete on the top of the page you linked to. The correct Template creation instructions for Techdraw are located at : https://wiki...

Re: Back port commits to 0.19 branch

Has my suggestion git commit 8ec9bfa been removed from the list for some reason, it's not only a fix but has been reported multiple times on 0.19.1 hence my request?

Re: Center mark of arc and/or circle output to pdf

Sorry but works absolutely fine for me, you are aware of the Preferences: TechDraw_Prefs.jpg If you look in the Data tab of the View under Decoration, Arc Centre Marks can be switched on and off individually if so desired, this was classed as an improvement for those who didn't want the clutter in s...
