Appologies to you all, this is what we call a 1D-10T error and so wasted your time.
I just realised that I was clicking the wrong button. It was late and whenever I thought I was clicking extrude, I was actually clicking new body

Hi Whenever I try and extrude Sketch011, I get the below warning Warning.png And body002 is created Body2.png See attached FreeCAD file. Thanks @chrisb this is what I was looking for.
Say the image was more complex and I wanted to build the hollowed out solid from it, is it possible or do I need to try and draw it from scratch like you did?
