Hello, you may want to combine it with my roof tools: https://github.com/ebrahimraeyat/PitchedRoof I think we can recognize hip lines and then draw the tim...

Re: How do we simulate a double-click in the tree view?

You can't. FreeCAD offers no way to catch an action on the 3D view for a scripted object. You should provide with your object a mechanism that would handle Qt/Coin mouse events in the 3D view. But that would be a terrible mess, maybe even not possible as FreeCAD already catch mouse events in its co...

Re: How do we simulate a double-click in the tree view?

How can I open the same UI, with double-clicking the object in 3D view scene? IMO you should not do that as this isn't how FC works and creating inconsistency is rarely a good thing. Thanks, But why I should not do that? I don't know. In most cased the user wants to click on an object in 3D, but wi...

Re: How do we simulate a double-click in the tree view?

yes, except i don't know how to capture the double-click in 3d view. In your code, the doubleClicked method refers to a double-clicking it in model tree. Thanks. I am a little confused. The DoubleClick method doesn't execute when double-clicking an object in a 3D scene? Thus, how can I execute it? ...
