Re: Another approach to assembly solver (A2plus)

I just had an idea regarding this, but don't know how easily this could be programmed or how useful it'll be in real use: Why not have some random numbers depending on the size of the parts' boundingbox(es) to define an x,y offset for the label's position? This may ease this a little bit. I had tho...

Re: New Assembly 4?

And as likely Assembly 4 thread will get huge over time, I feel that best if a new thread by @Zolko is opened and Assembly 4 related discussions to be conducted there. I agree. I'm assuming Zolko agrees so when Zolko gets a post up I'll change the first post and add a last post to reference the new...

Re: New Assembly 4?

Likely this will end up being a long(er) term thread and therefore @Zolko likely needs to become an OP? By for example opening a new thread and merging this thread in it. Or something like that. You are correct. I noticed that Zolko has the second post in this string. I contacted him this morning w...

Re: New Assembly 4?

I downloaded the Bielle assm. example, opened all the support files first, and the only thing in the assm. is a sketch. I have created files, used Create New Model. saved, closed, opened but the App link doesn't work. Zolko, I edited the first post of this Assembly4 branch to include the informatio...

Re: New Assembly 4?

I downloaded the Bielle assm. example, opened all the support files first, and the only thing in the assm. is a sketch. Are you using realthunder's Asm3 AppImage ? App::Link is only available with that (or your self-compiled LinkStage3 branch) Duh. Light bulb! That's why your assembly was intertwin...

Re: Another approach to assembly solver (A2plus)

The DOF-information command now does labeling on screen Excellent. I like the colors to show what is there at a glance and being able to see everything in the assembly. Better than I had imagined and works great for the way I use it. Thankyou. Also: The problem I had before with the constraint sele...

Re: New Assembly 4?

Has someone made a step by step how to make two blocks and put them together? I have spent hours trying to do the basics and I have Zero to show but others are doing fine. Am I missing an add-on, I downloaded the Bielle assm. example, opened all the support files first, and the only thing in the ass...
