copying the location of objects

I want to move a object to the location of another one, so instead of copying all x y z + angles one by one I made this little scripts. It works pasted directly in the console, but cant share a global variable. copy location: global place_register place_register = Gui.Selection.getSelectionEx()[0].O...

[Not a Bug] Extrude taper angle issue

I extruded a shape with rounded corners with a taper angle and a specific corner is projected wrong IMHO. I think describing it won't get the Issue good across, so please check out the picture or file. The wrong corner is highlighted. I have other ways to create the desired geometry and only want to...

Oh, yes. The rotation by Euler angles are good for the task I described at last. Thanks

[Solved] Move in local cooridinate system by number and unit

In the transform interface for a part one can move the part by its local coordinate system by dragging the axis or the angle. It would be nice if one had the option to double click, or right click that axis/angle and type in the distance/angle one wants to transform the part in to. Right now, one ca...

Re: [Bug] Zooming with scroll wheel doesn't work

My bad, its my first appimage, apologies. I confirm zooming by scrolling works as it should be with the appimage version. (the buttons look badly scaled for high resolution screen though..) OS: Arch Linux Word size of OS: 64-bit Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit Version: 0.19.22411 (Git) AppImage Build t...

Re: [Bug] Zooming with scroll wheel doesn't work

sadly no, appimage won't build itself. You don't have to build it yourself, you can use the official. I think you are mistaken there. I cant find a pre-compiled binary for appimage in the official arch repo: https://www.archlinux.org/ In the arch user repository (AUR) I can find only this orphaned ...
