Re: 0003054: Sketcher - List of important but empty wiki pages that need contents

I propose: -remove the dead picture links from the two sites. -close the ticket There is still a bit clean up to do...

Re: Help on drawing a worm gear with its involute gear

Importing an OpenScad file in FC will generate proper Features, not tessellated objects. Oh, i didn't knew that, thanks. With this you can disassemble the teeth, the hole and everything. However i would still call the sweep tessellated. The resolution can be changed in the code. worm-gear.png ... e...

[*]run "make - jX" where X is the number of cores to use Little correction: With 4 cores it should be make -j3. And a little side note: With this option the error-warning don't have to be at the end of the terminal output. The different threads print out when ever one is ready to print. I tried to ...

Re: Compile w/Py3 & Qt5 for Dummies

For a) python 3 there is also a FreeCAD build-skrip in the aur. I was able to build FreeCAD with python 3 like this. The aur has some different versions of FreeCAD . Note for my post above: "-j2" means 3 processors will be used for compilation. " &> make_log" writes the output in make_log file inste...

Re: Compile w/Py3 & Qt5 for Dummies

b) QT5 The arch-user-repository has a PKGBUILD installation skrip. Have a look at depends and build . In addition i turn of every workbench i am not using, as it speeds up the compilation time a lot. My workflow is like this: git clone to FreeCAD_fresh folder. Update only this folder with git pull. ...

Re: 0003054: Sketcher - List of important but empty wiki pages that need contents

cool, since the moving is done now, that only leaves:
[*]B-spline Toolbar
[*]Virtual Toolbar
[*]Other related work

IMHO this state of the wiki is sufficient for 0.18 and i propose to close the ticket. I can sum up the work left to do for a new ticket with a lower priority and Target Version 0.19.
