Re: Box Creator Script

cool, thanks. Works. Unfortunately, a bug has crept in. Partitions can only be inserted in x or y. If you started with x, the following error occurs when inserting the y wall: <Exception> Wire is not closed. 155.123 <App> Document.cpp (3738): Failed to recompute Unnamed # bottom: Wire is not closed...

Re: Curved Shapes Workbench

Nice. :D Curved Array allow to make a surface with only 3 curves. I still have some trouble at the end or beginning, sometimes a vertex is created. In fact this is not a vertex, it is a very small copy of your base object. In most designs we need this to make an ending to the shape, but sometimes a...

Re: Box Creator Script

Is it possible to set the Box Creator Script so that it does not close automatically after the box has been created so that, for example, the partition walls can still be made? Or that the last values are retained when opening? This is a good suggestion. Update the boxcreator macro. The dialog will...

Re: Curved Shapes Workbench

1. The surface carried out is downed, but should it be? (red arrow) The Curved Array is scaled between the two sketches, but not shifted. This is actually not what we want. I have made a correction to the workbench. Update the workbench and create the Curved Array again, it will not be downed then.

Re: Curved Shapes Workbench

1. The surface carried out is downed, but should it be? (red arrow) Both hullcurves are in the XY plane. There is no extension into the Z direction. This is why the Curved Array tool does not do shiftings in the Z direction. You can add an additional sketch with a straight line that connects the tw...

Re: Lavochkin La-11 RC Airplane (3D printed)

That plane looks nice. Curved Shapes very usefull for wing tips, stabilizer, rudder - for surfaces where only one profile used. In wing your should have at least two different profiles (for root and tip). You can use the Curved Segment tool in the Curved Shapes WB This interpolates from one profile ...

I have tried several times to install this workbench, each time addon manager shows that it is installed but it does not show in the drop down list.
Any suggestions?
Are there any error messages in the report view ?

Re: Lavochkin La-11 RC Airplane (3D printed)

In fact all parts are surfaces, not solids. This is only the way to success. You unable to design complex model for 3D print technology using solids with actual version of FreeCAD. About parametrization better forget at all. It works only for simple solid-body models. Maybe the Curved Shapes Workbe...

Re: Open-source Höhenwindkraftwerk (Drachen) in Freecad
