Nice Work ppemawm. I've done something similar here:

Interestingly, your last pictured model has been used on worldwide certification tests for at least professional level certifications. Model mania is a great place to look for models.

Re: Anyone willing to collaborate on writing guides for users coming from other CAD/CAM solutions to FreeCAD?

I can provide some screenshots of the SolidWorks ribbon that highlight the commands and where to find the equivalent in FreeCAD Fantastic idea! Also your videos are awesome. Some of the highest quality...

Found it, but admittedly I'm not very good on using this forum. Any chance this thread will let you upload ~5mb file? OK looks like my file is too big to attach to this comment. Re: Reduce/Enlarge 3D object

The image shows the Draft Workbench, not the Part Workbench.
Indeed, I mistypted. It's on the draft workbench.

FreeCAD Corsair F4U Series

Doing a series on creating the FreeCAD Corsair F4U. This is intended to cover creating a 3D model from 2D images, a more complex look at wings/air foils than was done in the past, and the use of surfacing. Two videos of the series are already uploaded, the rest will go live one video per week. Enjoy...

Re: Anyone willing to collaborate on writing guides for users coming from other CAD/CAM solutions to FreeCAD?

Hey Kunda, I started something like that comparing FreeCAD and SolidWorks long ago. I think I still have the document, let me dig around and see if I can find it.
