Re: Getting Started - Sketcher improvement as a first task?

I'm with a mobile now but if needed I can point to the files where the magics happen. Anyway be aware that this is probably a massive effort that you're diving in, as I'm not even sure that current implementation supports relative position computation between last click and current pointer location....

How much people are you representing? As you constantly say 'we', I guess you're speaking as a representative of a team or a small group of people, aren't you?

Re: Best working external IDE to import FreeCAD in 2021

I think your question isn't clear as 'IDE' stands for 'Integrated Development Environment', which is a software used for coding purposes. Showing 3D objects in it doesn't match very well... :?

kisolre wrote: Sat Jul 24, 2021 10:33 am Is there an easy way to find those parameters that are absent but used if present? Because some "random" mention somewhere (like this thread) would be quite hard to find/search for.
When I introduce such parameters, I always document them in Fine-tuning as soon as the PR is merged.

Re: Quick suggestion for the Combo view

A QStackedWidget is also an alternative if you don't need to have several groups displayed at the same time. ;)

Re: [Features Requests] Sketcher Radius/Diameter presentation

I would want the same behavior every time, not some random behavior. Perhaps I do not understand what you mean by "random". This is the second image from @Syres. If you use to have concentric dimensions, they are easier to see/drag if some randomness is added in the display angle. Notice ...

They have to be manually created. Absence of them leads to default values to be applied.

Re: [Features Requests] Sketcher Radius/Diameter presentation

The image is not linked or uploaded, and without it I cannot imagine why someone would want randomness. Oh something went wrong. With a mobile now, will fix later. Anyway, the video won't have explained why it's needed, it just demonstrates the effect. @Syres explained the what-for (I have no perso...
