Re: issues with the new Std UserEditMode

I reported this case since the PartDesign primitives have the same coloring feature than the Part primitives. Therefore when using UserEditMode with Color mode on a Part primitive should give the same result than with a PartDesign primitive. You were right to report in any case. OK, I had a deeper ...

Re: Using spreadsheet values in a macro

Actually what you're doing lack of sense. :)
I'm not clear whether you want to end up with an expression or a fixed value in your final file.
If you want an expression, you should have something like

Code: Select all

ss.setExpression('.Placement.Base.x', u'<<params>>.cell_width * {}'.format(i))

I remember Draft also extensively uses 'Gui::InputField' widgets. Could give some more clues.

Re: QTimer: PySide vs PyQt5

Just a guess as I'm with a mobile now. As your class will contain some slots, I'm surprised it doesn't inherits QtCore.QObject. Could you add the inheritance and call the super constructor? And hopefully it may be fine. Also I would advise you to set 'self' as parent of the Qtimer, so if the instanc...

You have to create the parameters by yourself if you want something different from the default value. ;)
