Re: Where is "Export selected geometries as one single child object" ?

IIRC this user uses LinkStage mod of FreeCAD, not master.

Re: Pockt adding extra bug

If I fully recompute, it stops recomputing at Pocket010 saying "Result has multiple solids". Which isn't supported Also your sketches are sometime under-constrained, sometime over-constrained. You should first fix your model then see if problem still exists. EDIT : was with 0.20. On 0.19 i...

Re: loft doesn't works

Some other bits of information : * Forcing document recomputing changes nothing to the problem * The problem doesn't exist using sketch as a base profile => Due to using a face as base * The problem also exists if the base face is from a Pad => Not due to using a primitive * Notice that you can Loft...

Re: Sketcher formula displays incorrect values

OK, I though there would be something wrong because on the drawing itself you can see it displays 4.825 . Yep. There are some inconsistencies/weirdness in FreeCAD where user setting is sparsely applied. Especially for Sketcher, it has a hardcoded precision that value is "6 significant digits&q...

Re: Sketcher grid

Hello! Hello I'm using the latest version of 0.20, Ubuntu 21.10. Means nothing. Please have a look at the link in the red banner to know how to give full info. I would like to change the grid in the sketcher. I opened the preferences, and then the sketcher subsection. The current grid is 10mm, and ...

Re: Metadata: One Standard to Rule Them All

I'll have to think about that -- I'm not a huge fan of a url straight to the package.xml file, I'd rather a url to the git repo and a named branch. Most probably you're right.:) On that note, right now there's no support for specifying a specific git commit or tag, but as I was writing the Addon Ma...

Re: Metadata: One Standard to Rule Them All

I even imagined something like :

Code: Select all

<content>
    <package url="url://path/to/pack1/package.xml" />
</content>
All other information can then be retrieved from the url.

Thanks for the suggestion. The bug is still there.

By the way, how do I gracefully refer to your post in my reply?
Quote button is top-right of each post (double quote symbol). ;)

Re: Metadata: One Standard to Rule Them All

Do you want it to truly be a meta-package, in that it doesn't actually contain the others, but simply references them and the Addon Manager deals with actually checking them out? Exactly. So if one of the packages is updated, the meta package will automatically be as it just contains pointers to ot...
