Feature Request: Add Cancel / No Update to Sketch and Other Functions
Hi, Currently, the program will recompute everything even if there is no change on a sketch or some other features after opening it to edit. Another case is that you could want to cancel what you have done on a sketch or some other features after editing. For a complex model, it could take hours to ...

Re: Sketch On Surface maximum recursion depth exceeded
The issue may be due to missing fronts. The SVG file was created on another computer. The front was found not available on the computer where the SVG object was converted to Path in Inkscape and imported to FreeCAD. When the SVG was converted to Path on the original computer and then imported to Fre...

Re: Sketch On Surface maximum recursion depth exceeded
I guess it's the inner path problem. I can approximately draw the inner path manually in FreeCAD as a workaround. How do you find the problematic path? Can it be fixed in the Inkscape or FreeCAD program other than the workaround?

Re: Sketch On Surface maximum recursion depth exceeded
I got another error "Error in Edge: BOPAlgo SelfIntersect" and "Error in Vertex: BOPAlgo SelfInterest" when adding thickness to the Sketch On Surface with another letter imported from Inkscape. It's a letter "b" with two separate paths. I converted the paths to a sketch...

Re: Sketch On Surface maximum recursion depth exceeded
My version 0.19.23578 seems doesn't compatible with the new curve workbench update. The FreeCAD freeze when change to the new curve workbench after it's updated. It works perfectly on version 0.19.23970.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: problems with Freecad 0.19
Yes. I am using 0.19 on it. Just worrying it's not yet a stable version. So far it's working great.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Sketch On Surface maximum recursion depth exceeded
I am trying to use the Curve - Sketch On Surface function map a sketch imported from SVG on a cylinder. The SVG was a single letter draw in Inkscape. I can't get it done even following two YouTube tutorials and did a lot researches. The error "maximum recursion depth exceeded while calling a Py...

Re: problems with Freecad 0.19
Please put a warning message that file saved in 0.19 can't be opened on 0.18. 0.18 plugin manager is broken which has to use 0.19 to install plugin and go back to 0.18. Sometime, you use 0.19 to draw a few things but accidentally saved the file. The file can't be reopened on 0.18. However, 0.19 is u...

Re: Can't install cfMesh and HiSA
I got the same problem. Successfully installed by running freecad.exe as administrator. You need to run OpenFOAM_Start batch file installed on your desktop to start the VirtualBox VM. Make sure the VM started without error in the terminal. Right click freecad.exe and run it as administrator. Then yo...
