Re: Lofting to obtain singularly curved faces

Thanks ! Very instructive indeed, but to be honest, I'd have expected some kind of -automated- tool to do all the steps
See for example the below example

Can you please elaborate on the workflow you're using, especially the step where you create the square-to-circle part ?
I can't find such a tool on the Mesh designer.

Unwraping faces

3D Gurus, Greetings! I need your help ! I have a Part I need to Laser-Cut. I did tests on the red face with Mesh > Create mesh from shape and differents algorithms. and I have different results popping out See the screenshot below and eventually the attached file. Re: One body, multiple references

@Zorko, Even if I don't really understand what's going on in that other topic, it's probably the feature I'm looking for. Thanks for the tip :)

One body, multiple references

The speadsheet contains different values for each of the above. Now I create a new column on the spead...

Re: Another approach to assembly solver (A2plus)

kbwbe Thanks, That did the trick.
Also on a more complex drawing, I used the same constrain, but not on the "thickness" plane, but rather on the two edges
Thanks again :)

Re: Another approach to assembly solver (A2plus)

Hi guys! Thanks for your time for programming this module. I confess I have troubles to use it, mainly because I'm more used to TopSolid's workflow from work I have a small question for you. I created a simple cube and a simple cylinder, then imported both in an assembly document. Now I want to put ...

Re: Macro for unrolling ruled surfaces

Hello from a new Freecad user :) I'm trying to use donovae 's unrolling macro, on Freecad dev release, but I got some errors regarding inconsistent use of space and TAB indentation. I tried to fix things a bit -- except I'm not too sure of myself ( I think I messed up indentation in code block betwe...
