Re: Current Assembly Status

I started to use A2plus, had closer looks into Assembly 3 and 4 (there are pro's and con's) and turned back to handy A2plus (it's really KISS) but got a visit from topo naming issue. Re: Assembly 4 and Fasteners

<Exception> PropertyLinkSub does not support external object Is this an issue to be addressed to Assembly4 wb or to Fasteners wb? Fastener objects are not App::Link aware. And it's quite tricky to do for fasteners, so I don't know whether it's on their TODO-list. That's why there is the Hole_Axis w...

The FreeCAD wiki page about PythonOCC doesn't say anything. For example, if I wanted to make an extrusion from a wire (result of a...

The problem is that the pseudos are different in the IRC and here on the forum, so no way to know whom you're chatting with

So I want to be helpful. There is someone who could guide me trough this? I could programming, testing, translate, design, reply... Olà Igor, there are 3 ways to contribute code: in the core FreeCAD, which is mostly in C++. For that, you need to first get git working on your computer and compile th...

There is the bigger FOSS role model Blender which has something similar in the works: the Blender Human Interface Guidelines You note in the last sentence you are enamored with the Blender UI. Yes, it's nice and all. But, my efficacy with Blender dropped dramatically when they released the current ...
