Any recognition for monetary contributions?

Hi, I recently contributed to this amazing software. Its been a while. I was hoping I could get some image or receipt to boast to my friends about the act. I did it through bounty source - even a thankyou note would suffice. I am not expecting any freecad merchandise or anything - just something to ...

scale a sketch and fit inside another sketch

Just what the title says... In the drawing attached I have a sketch that has a letter drawn. There is also a cube. I drew the sketch big enough so I can get the proportion right. Now I need to fit the sketch inside one face of the cube. Any ideas on how to go about this? https://i.imgur.com/aydzlwg....

Re: How do I measure the vertical distance along an axis?

Oh, well, I have an answer.

You can indirectly infer this. Use the measure tool. Click on the first point of interest, and, click any other point in the figure. Make sure the Distance is selected in the Model view. In the data tab just read off the z value of the first point.

How do I measure the vertical distance along an axis?

I am trying to find the z-axis distance from the XY plane to a particular point on the object (in other words, the vertical distance). Perhaps the pic below can throw more light.

I checked out the measure tool, but it is quite limited in this sense. Or is it?

Re: how to trim two intersecting lines?

Nope. I have set the grid snap. But it did not work. The report view still shows the error you've mentioned. However, in another project, I draw two intersecting lines via sketcher, I am able to trim those...

There is more to this than meets the

how to trim two intersecting lines?

I am unable to trim the two intersecting white lines. Also sharing the project file. The figure concerned is in the sketch001. Hoping someone can guide me.
