Re: [finally released] FreeCAD 0.19 Windows installer release candidate

If a new release will be made shouldn't we also look for bugfixes to be included? for example: https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/commit/4e4068e44f and https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/pull/4691 Thanks. I created a new thread to collect these commits and PRs: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopi...

Re: [finally released] FreeCAD 0.19 Windows installer release candidate

We should figure a way to centralize this. There are a few of us now maintaining the Libpack. Keeping versions straight is important. I fully agree. @apeltauer, could you please make a new LibPack release with Qr 5.15.2 and the latest Gmsh 4.8.3? And/or could you maybe allow us to contribute to you...

That's awesome, did you also upgrade the debug?
Yes, the full Qt.
So should I upload my LibPack? I can also upload just the release package without the debug libraries.

Did you upgrade QT yourself?
Yes, I just upgraded from Qt 5.15.1 to 5.15.2. I can provide the "patched" LibPack with which I built and turn211 confirmed the bug was fixed.

Re: ANSI Sprocket generator

You can reference "Sprocket.Thickness" in the pad command. Yes, but this is only useful when scripting. For the "normal" way of padding one has to copy/past the thickness manually and this is error-prone. Maybe it would be a good idea to move sprockets to FCgears and include the padding in the comm...

Re: ANSI Sprocket generator

i did exactly what I was asked to do, this is the end of my participation in this thread. It sounds to me that you are upset. But why? You improved the feature and I wanted to document it. This way I did not get how it works and wrote how I think it should work. There is nobody to blame. We are dev...

Re: ANSI Sprocket generator

It's all in this thread: But it doesn't work - I have e.g. a thickness of 4.267 mm, then I pad the sprocket and get a 10.0 mm thick pad. So why is either: - the sprocket a 3D part with a pad that is as thick as the thickness? This would also save time because no manual padding is necessary - when p...

Re: [finally released] FreeCAD 0.19 Windows installer release candidate

So we can release 0.19.2 right now. Can you please make a tag and all the other steps that need to be done? I can help with a Win-installer if you like. Not yet, at least this PR must go into the 0-19 branch before: https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/pull/4719 since this is also a nasty stylesheet ...
