Problem inverting the hinge on a door

Hi

I created a custom door and I'm having a problem inverting the hinge. FreeCAD's own simple door works just fine but my own is giving me this message: "This window has no defined opening". How can I define it? I think I did it once accidentally but I can't seem to do it again.

Weird behavior with multimaterials

Hello I have a little problem with multimaterials. When the wall is aligned center the material is correct but when aligned left or right it creates some kind of overlapping geometry. It don't matter what base object I have for the wall. Has anyone else had this kind of problem? OS: Windows 10 (10.0...

Parametric page

Hello!

I don't know if someone has asked about this already but would it be possible to have a parametric template for TechDraw page? It would be great just to change the width and height in page properties without loading a different template every time.

Re: FreeCAD Logo Design

Hey. I decided to try something different from the other suggestions. This kind of pencil compass is quite often related to CAD programs and wings of course represents freedom :)

Wall blocks with offset

Hey, I found out that there is a small problem if you use Wall tools blocks property with Wall offset. From the GIF you can see that the blocks will disappear partly if you set a small value and then completely with a bigger value. There would be many good uses if the blocks would follow the offset....

Wooden Cladding

Hello, It is very handy to create different kind of wooden claddings with "Wall" tools "Blocks" property but the only problem is that the "Block Lenght" can't be equal or more than the length of the wall. If you put a bigger value the blocks will disappear. If you put a...

Re: BIM units

Indeed the MKS schema works like this https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/blob/master/src/Base/UnitsSchemaMKS.cpp Maybe we need a new one here? I support the idea of a little update for this. Some kind of setting in the preferences where you can have more control. I'm doing architectural drawings my...

Re: BIM units

I believe the OP is referring to a different issue: Even with the units set to Standard (mm/kg/s/degree) dimensions that are >= 10m are displayed in meters. Yes, this is the issue. I have set the preferences correctly. Blender had this same thing until now. It's just so much more consistent when yo...

BIM units

Hey. I wanted to ask if there is a way to change ALL of the units to millimeters? My BIM settings are set to millimeters and in preferences everything is in millimeters but still some of the units are in meters.
