Best way to import 2D barcode png into 2d drawing
I'm looking at taking an image (like a 2d barcode) and somehow import it into Freecad so that I have all of those squares and lines converted into faces, capable of then extruding them into a 3d design? I looked into converting to a vector drawing (ala .DXF), than importing it in FreeCAD, but my res...

Re: FreeCAD suddenly stopped loading
Ok. Got somewhere. Users/me/AppData/Roaming/Freecad/ two .cfg files somehow got corrupted? I deleted them, Freecad started up fine. Replaced the originals, back to not loading correctly. Odd. I had tons of macros and icons setup for different workbenches. Looks like I'll have to set them up again. *...

FreeCAD suddenly stopped loading
After doing Win7 64bit security updates and a reboot, none of my Freecad version load. Older versions don't launch at all. Newer version show "Unknown C++ exception" screen: Says Python is searching for its files, with a bunch of directories which seem to be correct Python version 2.6.2 An...

Re: Part display inccorret v14_3263
Have you tried v14_2778 windows 64bit? You have access to more versions than I at this point.
In the end, it is just a transparency display issue, I'll deal with it.

Re: Part display inccorret v14_3263
I have a few versions laying around, the only one that seems to work correctly is indeed on a 64bit version. I don't have an older 64 bit version to verify the pattern.

Re: Part display inccorret v14_3263
Are you sure it is an OpenGL issue? Specifically, I don't have this problem on 14_2778. Something changed to the latest version?

Part display inccorret v14_3263
Noticed this transparent panel begins to intersect a bar as I rotate the image. Looks like a visual representation issue? I'm also coming from v14_2778 land. I know it is 64bit. But, 3263 takes twice as long to load my files, slightly longer to resave them. And, 2778 does not exhibit the issue above...
