I know this is offtopic and especially not for the User Showcase subforum...but where can i report issues for LinkStage3 stuff? Anyway, I'm posting that this issue was fixed in master but shows up in the 10.22 dail...

I get a consistent crash whenever I try to make a thick solid out of the bottom face of the linked model. The crash happens with the side faces also. If you look through the Install/Compile forum you will find vastly more problems with linux systems than with Windows systems.
P.S. I don't recommend installing Linux right away on a new laptop because of warranty reasons.

Use Linux :) And FreeCAD 0.19 lol....I don't know how heavy your projects can get and if you need a dedicated video card but I highly recomend a 1080p IPS panel. Modern laptops with amd/radeon-vega apu are really capable with good to excelent linux support, long battery life and a price range from ...
