Re: Draft move problem - selection exploding (0.19)

I've taken a look at the line coordinates and some of the Y dimensions contain huge numbers, possibly related to this bug, so I think the issue here is just a limitation of floats rather than a bug.

Bug, or I'm doing something seriously wrong - Random Z values when creating Draft Lines in the front view

Create a new document and open the Draft workbench Set the working plane to front and change the view to front also. Click the Draft Line tool (or press L, I on the keyboard) Click anywhere to create the first point. Now drag the mouse around and notice how the local Z value is seemingly random. Am...

Draft move problem - selection exploding (0.19)

I cannot for the life of me understand why this is happening: I select a group of lines, use the Draft Move tool and afterwards all of the lines become messed up (strange angles and lengths). 1. Use the box select to select the bottom line (black) and all the little lines that cross it. 2. Realise t...

Re: Draft Edit improvements

Regarding editing a wire with draft edit, is there any way to snap to another point in the wire? So that for example I can constrain one axis and snap one point to another horizontally or vertically.

chrisb wrote: Mon Apr 29, 2019 9:54 pm Did you ever try using Part containers instead of groups?
I have but that doesn't help anything regarding this issue. :( Also, it is my understanding that part containers aren't that well supported.

Re: Box selection bug - groups being selected (0.18 final)

Trying to select the top group of lines in this project with a box selection and it's just selecting random crap like groups and page views. Makes it more or less useless.

(FIXED) TechDraw - View visibility being ignored on load (0.18 final)

Load the file and you'll see all 3 views (sometimes only 1 it seems...?) shown on the page even though the visibility is toggled off for all of them. If you want to reproduce it yourself: Part workbench -> create a cube solid TechDraw workbench -> insert a new default page Select the cube object in ...

Re: Possible to change dimension extensions in TechDraw?

Basically everything you can do in the Draft Workbench , in this case with Draft Dimension , should be implemented by TechDraw tools. As Yorik is an architect, most of his development in Draft was done thinking about architectural needs. I've tried Draft Dimensions in the past but they never had th...

Re: Possible to change dimension extensions in TechDraw?

That's exactly it, I'm doing some architectural drawings to apply for a building permit. I have the layout and building done in FreeCAD already so it's simple to transfer it to a TechDraw page and add dimensions, but the dimensions look ugly with their long extension lines. This is the sort of thing...
