Problems reinstall cfdof

Hello, I had some PC troubles so I needed to reinstall cfdof in freecad- When process via preferences I get the following messages: Downloading HiSA, please wait... Extracting HiSA... Download completed Building HiSA. Please wait... Log file: C:/Program Files/blueCFD-Core-2017/OpenFOAM-5.x\..\ofuser...

CFDOF nicht newtonsche inkompressible Medien

Hallo zusammen,

hat jemand Erfahrung oder kennt jemand die Möglichkeit mit CfdOf in Freecad die Strömung von inkompressiblen nicht-newtonschen Fluiden zu simulieren ?

Danke für eure Antwort.

Simulation with no outlet

Hi all, is it possible to define / execute a simulation of geometry / case where there is no outlet condition ? E.g. pressure chamber in which fluid flushes in through inlet pipe. The chamber's pressure would rise during the inflow. If it is possible coudl you give me short descriotion how to set it...

Basic question to data storage

Hi all, can anybody tell me where Freecad / CFDOF saves the calculated data of a simulation ? (p-filed, U-field etc.) I tried to figure it out from the messages in the solver window but not with the most success. In my opinion it has to be somehwere under C./.../bluecfd.../openfoam .X..../, but not ...

Re: Simulation do not converge

Hi Oliveroxtoby,

is it meanningful to define a free suface as a slip surface especially if the movement of the surface water<-> air is not
in interest ?

Than my problem would have been solved quite easy and elegant.

Thx for feedback.

Re: Simulation do not converge

Thx oliveroxtoby, I will try to remodel the case. By the way: I read somewhere that for the outlet pressure condition the value is meant to be the pressure devided by the density. Is that right ? Altough there is "Pa" in the unit field ? Regarding the free surface boundary condition: I found this to...

Re: Flow simulation of two incompressible fluid streams

hi olivertoxoby, i have a question to a previous email of yours. You wrote (related to case of 2 immiscible fluids): First you create a model of your entire fluid as one geometry (it could be a solid compound, if I understood that correctly) and then a second geometry (for example, a box) which will...

Mixing chamber - 2 inlets same medium , 1 outlet

Dear all, I tried to solve another example for get myself more familiar with the CFD topic. It is a quite simple structure of a pipe with 2 inlets (round shaped) and 1 outlet. The medium is the same for both inlets. I did meshing with cfmesh and surface refinement at the inlets and outlet. I tried a...
