hammax, that model is next level. Wow. Just wow. Thank you. I will learn from your model. So, this is going to be a subwoofer with a sonotube extension. I'm in North America so I'm using 12" Sonotube but it is parametric so should be adaptable. The 4th order ports will come out of the thruster ...

[SOLVED] [HELPED] Re: Enter the dragon: appreciate some help/ideas on a complex model

Wow. Some great ideas. Thank you!

I just took a stab at the multi-section sweep idea, as per Mr. ChrisB. I'm really pleased with it.

These other models are super helpful. I will play with this new info, also. Thank you!

[Solved] [Helped] Enter the dragon: appreciate some help/ideas on a complex model

This is not a bug or service issue. I am trying to model the SpaceX Dragon and find myself out of my depth. I have no plans to fly this model beyond the stratosphere so it just needs to be a reasonable facsimile. Basically, it will be a toy and I will upload it as open source (with source) to the re...

I'm trying to create a mold so it needs a bit of taper. Some text doesn't respond to the draft tool. It seems like TTF fonts do, so I'...

Strange model deformity.

I'm seeing something odd with a project I'm working on. It could very well be that I'm doing something wrong. It looks like this. album-stand.png Thinking there is a chance this is a bug, I tried a few recent versions, including today's version. All are the same. Any ideas would be appreciated! OS: ...

Re: Helix: No rest for the wicked. (trouble with subtractive helix)

Increasing the pitch worked. Thank you! So, I subtracted 0.01 from the insert width (using machinist lexicon) and it's back working at the preferred pitch. part.png This is a cap for 1/4 SAE FFL. In other words, air conditioning fittings. I just spent 90 minutes messing with this design, imposed on ...
