Sorry for replying late and off topic, but I use GifCam. It is dated and doesn’t capture sound, but the resulting files are tiny.

Thank you for the honest feedback. Sorry to hear that you lost interest. Wish you good luck with your projects and hope to see you regain interest in FreeCAD some day soon.

Re: Reimplementing constraint solver

Hi,

I followed your discussions with high interest. But the last two weeks no new posts showed up. Have you abandoned this project or is the discussion taking place at some other location?
Just curious.

Re: test on machinery design: feedback and feature request

Hello,
Regarding construction lines.
They already exist in sketches . Please take a look at the part design workbench. It‘s a toggle button . The construction lines have a blue color.

Point Symmetry also exist in the sketch.

Patters also exist.

Electric Installation Drawing

Dear all,

I would like to plan/draw the electric installation of my workshop.
Is it feasible with FreeCAD? I assume it is with Draft or TechDraw. Are there specialized workbenches?

But it is wise? Are there other free software solutions that are better suited?

Re: FOSDEM 2020 anyone?

Great.

I decided to stay home for that weekend. I assume the benefit of travel to Brussels does not outweigh the burden for me. Sorry. Good luck and have fun.

Re: FOSDEM 2020 anyone?

Hi, I’ve never been to FOSDEM. What will you exactly be doing there (beside giving the talk)? I’m considering to drive there for the weekend (Feb 1&2). But it is a 6 hour drive for me and I would like to understand what you”ll be doing and if I could participate. I do not know to program in pyth...

Re: Assembly 4 workbench

Thank you for the excellent tutorial.
There are still a few typos but that didn’t caused any trouble.
Could you please explain In the Tutorial why the body has to be created With the asm4 wb and not with the part design wb.
