Re: Your Priorities for the Draft Workbench

Hi carlopav

Unfortunately, I didn't have my priorities straight. In short, open-source development isn't on my list right now.

I can't say if or when I will return.

Good luck!

Re: FreeCADGui

Hi wmayer :-]
Thanks for the explanation, and all the effort you have put into this project!

Does ApplicationPy.cpp exist simply to reduce the size of Application.cpp and organize the code?

Re: FreeCADGui

Thanks vocx. :-] // if this returns a valid pointer then the 'FreeCADGui' Python module was loaded, // otherwise the executable was launched I'm now interpreting this as // if this returns a valid pointer, then "import FreeCADGui" was used while running FreeCAD in console mode; // otherwise, FreeCAD...

Understanding the Elusive FreeCADGui Module

What is FreeCADGui (i.e. "import FreeCADGui")? Where is it defined? From Gui/Application.cpp PyDoc_STRVAR(FreeCADGui_doc, "The functions in the FreeCADGui module allow working with GUI documents,\n" "view providers, views, workbenches and much more.\n\n" "The FreeCADGui instance provides a list of r...

The Circle Tool, Tangents, and GccAna

From the Draft Circle wiki article : "By pressing Alt, you can select a tangent instead of picking a point. You can therefore construct several types of circles by selecting one, two or three tangents." This is also indicated in FreeCAD by the tooltip. However, I have been unable to find a case wher...

Re: Your Priorities for the Draft Workbench

No problem. I'll probably create some new auxiliary articles and just link to them.

Re: Your Priorities for the Draft Workbench

Thanks for all the information! :D

For the next few days I'm going to keep analyzing the system, and maybe work on enhancing The_FreeCAD_source_code or a related article.
